Ben sıkı FaceBook kullanıcılarındanım, 500'ün üzerindeki arkadaş listem ve ve pek çok grup üyeliğim var. Neredeyse tüm önemli yazışmalarımı facabook mesajı kullanarak yapıyorum. FaceBook Okulu ile tüm kullanıcılara görüntülü video dersleri hazırlıyorum. Çevrimiçi kullanıcılar arasında FaceBook mesajlaşması yapılamıyordu. Bu chat modülü uzun zamandır hazırlanıyor ama bir türlü herkesin kullanımına açılamıyordu!

Uzun zamandır test edilen FaceBook chat modulü, sonunda herkesin kullanımına açıldı! Web 2.0 tabanlı bir arayüz olan FaceBook Chat, oturum açtıktan sonra sağ alt tarafta aktif oluyor. Minibar adı verilen konuşma ekranınız üstünden çevrimiçi olan kullanıcılar artık birbirleriyle yazışabiliyor.

Sohbet ayarlarında aşağıdaki seçenekler mevcut:
* Sohbet içerisinde Mini-Haberler haberlerini göster / Show Mini-Feed Stories in Chat.
* Yeni iletilerde ses çal / Play Sound for New Messages
* Çevrimiçi Arkadaşları Açık Tut / Keep Online Friends Open
* Çevrimiçi Arkadaşlarda Sadece İsim Göster / Show Only Names in Online Friends

Sohbet tarihçesi ise oturumu kapatıp açsanız bile tutulmaya devam ediliyor. İsterseniz konuşmalarınızı kayıt ederek yedek bile alabiliyorsunuz. Ayrıca hoşuma giden yeni bir özellik ise, çevirimiçi durumunuzu arkadaşlarınıza bildirmeniz. Seçenekleri elle yazabiliyor ya da evde, işte, ailesiyle birlikte gibi seçeneklerden seçebiliyorsunuz.

Çok yeni olan bu özellik, bence oldukça fazla kişi tarafından kullanılacak. Yakın gelecekte pek çok yeni özellikler eklenmesi planlanan bu ücretsiz servis ile ilgili videoyu seyretmek için burayı tıklayınız.

Updated spaces on the spaces community page have a more detailed description (when not signed in).

Learning how to install Apache, PHP, and MySQL is one of the most important parts of running a web server from any machine. In this tutorial we’ll learn how to install all of these resources in Windows 2000, which should also work in other versions of Windows.

We’ll need a few things to get started, check below for a list of files or executables we’ll need before we begin. This is a great way to start web developing or setting up our own server so we can test and build our own applications and scripts on our own machines before we publish them to the web. This makes a great development platform.

What We’ll Need

• Apache HTTPD Web Server (Win32 Binary) – This is the web server we’ll be installed for this project.

• PHP Windows Binaries – This will be used to develop under the PHP programming language.

Start off by downloading each of the applications and scripts and save them to a folder on your desktop or somewhere that will be easily accessible through out this tutorial. We’ll use the desktop for this project and work from it.

Now that we have everything we’ll need to download, downloaded we’ll start one by one installing each of these applications and/or scripts. The first one we need to get installed is Apache of course. This will be the basis of everything and we’ll build from that.

Pay-Per-Click-Info is a site that helps you determine where the "sponsored links" come from in the various search engines. For example, looking at AltaVista's sponsored links -- are they coming from Overture, where if you pay to be in the top 3 positions, you can then be in the top results at AltaVista? If you want to try to buy top billing at various search engines, this site will help you figure out how. If this subject interests you, be sure to read their Back Door to the Search Engines Guide.

Another good place for information about the relationships between search engines and pay-per-click search engines, is here - download this PDF from Bruce Clay: Search Engine Relationship Chart. Click on any of the search engines on that chart to see where the results displayed actually come from, and a wealth of other info about that search engine. Very helpful data if you're trying to crack into or improve a ranking at a particular search engine.

Here's another interactive Search Engine Relationships Chart that shows the same kind of information and may be updated a little more frequently than Bruce Clay's report.
